An airstrike was carried out on a house in the Sahar district of Saada province, which is under Houthi control in Yemen. Anees al-Asbahi, a spokesperson for the Houthi-run Ministry of Health, announced that at least nine people, including five children and two women, were killed and 19 others were injured as a result of the attack.

While it was stated that some of those injured in the attack are in critical condition, Houthi officials pointed to Saudi Arabia as being responsible for the incident. There has been no official statement from the Saudi government regarding the attack yet.

In Yemen, where clashes have reignited following a four-year ceasefire, this incident occurred during a period of escalating tension between the parties. The humanitarian situation in the region continues to cause concern alongside the increasing military activity.
