Atletico Madrid Claim Regarding Victor Osimhen

According to reports reflected in the Spanish press, it is claimed that Atletico Madrid Head Coach Diego Simeone has placed Victor Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, near the top of his transfer list.

According to information reported by Directv Sports, it was stated that Atletico Madrid Head Coach Diego Simeone finds Victor Osimhen's physical strength, effectiveness in the penalty box, and goal-scoring skills suitable for his team's playing style. In line with the Argentine manager's request, it was expressed that the Spanish club's management is researching the transfer conditions.

It was noted that Osimhen, whom Galatasaray added to their squad from Napoli in 2025, does not have a release clause in his contract, and the yellow-red club will demand a high transfer fee. It was conveyed that the player's annual salary of around 15 million euros poses an obstacle for Atletico Madrid, and the club is focusing on alternative formulas including bonuses and player exchanges.
