In an email sent to customers titled "Financial Security in the World of AI," Bank of America has called for banking information not to be shared with third-party artificial intelligence tools.

Bank management emphasized that users providing their usernames and passwords to personal AI assistants could lead to serious security vulnerabilities. Officials stated that such tools could perform financial transactions without the customer's knowledge or that credentials could be leaked due to security flaws.

A bank spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of the email, reminding customers that if they share their account information with third parties, they are responsible for all transactions resulting from that access. While banks continue to work on the secure integration of AI-powered payment systems, they remain cautious regarding unauthorized access.
