Education and Early Life
Born in Kocaeli in 1971, Bekir Bayrakdar successfully graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations in 1995.
Early Years of Career
Between 1996 and 2004, Bayrakdar undertook important duties as Assistant Tax Inspector and Tax Inspector respectively at the Board of Tax Inspectors.
Tax Office and Directorate of National Taxes
Having served in various proxy positions at the Kocaeli Tax Office Presidency between 2004 and 2008, Bayrakdar carried out the duty of Istanbul Director of National Taxes in the 2008-2014 period.
General Directorate and Presidency
Having served as the General Manager of Accounting between 2014 and 2015, Bayrakdar had been continuing his work within the institution as the President of the Revenue Administration since 2019.
