Following the Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe derby, Beşiktaş Club issued a statement calling on the Turkish Football Federation to take action, stating that the broadcaster applied a double standard in its broadcasting policy.

Beşiktaş made a statement regarding the incidents that occurred during the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby. The club stated that in recent weeks, their player Dusan Vlahovic's action was repeatedly brought to the screen by the broadcaster to ensure he received a penalty, but the same attitude was not displayed during the mass brawl in last night's derby. The statement argued that the broadcaster chose close-up tracking during Beşiktaş incidents while preferring wide angles for brawls involving other clubs.

It was also claimed that the interruption of former referee Bülent Yıldırım's speech while he was stating his opinion on the Trio program was an indicator of interference in the broadcasts by the broadcaster's executives. Beşiktaş called on the Turkish Football Federation to exercise its authority to collect evidence ex officio under Article 75 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction for this brawl as well, reminding that there are already criminal complaints filed with the prosecutor's office.
