Besiktas Gymnastics Club issued a statement criticizing the broadcaster's stance against the on-field incidents during the Galatasaray and Fenerbahce derby as well as the approach of the Turkish Football Federation, claiming that double standards were applied.

Besiktas stated that the broadcaster's attitude during the mass brawl involving dozens of footballers on the pitch with physical interventions and actual attacks right after the final whistle of the Galatasaray-Fenerbahce derby was a double standard. The statement argued that previously, an instantaneous action by their footballer Dusan Vlahovic was repeatedly brought to the screen by the broadcaster to ensure he received a penalty, whereas the same approach was not shown toward the mass incidents in the derby.

The black-and-white club demanded that the broadcaster deliver the raw director's recordings and called on the Turkish Football Federation to exercise its authority to collect evidence ex officio pursuant to Article 75 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction. Furthermore, it was claimed that cutting off Bulent Yildirim's words in the Trio program was an indicator of interference with the broadcasts, while it was recalled that there are criminal complaints against the broadcaster at the prosecutor's office and that disciplinary referrals would be followed closely.
