Best Economy Class Airlines Determined at the 2026 Skytrax Awards
The top five airlines for economy class have been announced in the passenger-reviewed 2026 Skytrax list, with Turkish Airlines claiming the top spot in Europe.
According to passenger evaluations conducted within the scope of the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, the top five airlines with the world's best economy class were announced as Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, EVA Air, and ANA All Nippon Airways.
In the evaluation covering seat width, meal quality, and in-flight entertainment options on long-haul flights, Singapore Airlines took the top spot on the list with its seat comfort and dining services. Cathay Pacific ranked second on the list, while Qatar Airways positioned third, standing out with its Starlink internet investments.
EVA Air claimed the fourth spot in the ranking with its ergonomic seat designs and Asian culinary delights, while ANA All Nippon Airways placed fifth, drawing attention with its generous legroom. Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines secured the eighth position globally in the overall economy class ranking, earning the title of Europe's best economy class airline.
