Blackwall Raises $100 Million in Investment, Reaching a Valuation of $2.2 Billion
Estonia-based Blackwall, operating in the field of web traffic security, has raised $100 million in a Series C round led by AVP.
Estonia-based Blackwall, which develops web traffic security tools, announced that it has raised $100 million at a valuation of $2.2 billion. Existing investors Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures, and Tera Ventures participated in the Series C funding round led by AVP.
Formerly known as BotGuard and founded in 2018 by Nikita Rozenberg and Denis Prochko, the Estonia-based web infrastructure and cybersecurity company Blackwall develops products against threats such as bot traffic generated by artificial intelligence agents. Roi Carthy, the company's Chairman of the Board, stated that with this funding round, the valuation has quadrupled compared to the previous year.
Instead of selling its platform directly to websites, Blackwall adopts a channel approach by collaborating with web hosting, managed services, and cloud providers. Providers offer the company's security tools under their own brands while maintaining customer relationships.
