Bloomberg HT October inflation survey results released
According to the Bloomberg HT October inflation survey conducted with the participation of economists, the monthly inflation expectation was set at 2.42 percent, while the annual expectation was 29.59 percent.
In the October inflation survey organized by Bloomberg HT, the median expectations of economists were shared. Experts participating in the survey predict that monthly inflation for October will be 2.42 percent and annual inflation will be 29.59 percent.
According to the survey results, while monthly inflation expectations for October ranged between 2 percent and 2.7 percent, annual inflation estimates concentrated in the range of 29 percent to 31.06 percent. In September, the CPI increased by 1.84 percent on a monthly basis and 29.73 percent on an annual basis.
Regarding long-term expectations, the year-end 2026 inflation forecast was recorded at 29.5 percent. The highest inflation forecast by economists for the end of 2026 was 31.5 percent, while the lowest estimate was 29 percent. The inflation expectation for the end of 2027 was set at 23.85 percent, with estimates for this period ranging between 22.5 percent and 27 percent.
