Bread Price Rises to 15 Liras in Kırşehir, Parties Evaluate
With the increase in the price of bread in Kırşehir, bakers found the hike insufficient due to costs, while citizens pointed out the cost of living.
By decision of the tradesmen's chambers in Kırşehir, the price of bread was raised from 12 TL to 15 TL. Following this development, bakery operators and citizens shared their views on the new tariff.

As a result of the regulation made by the tradesmen's chambers throughout Kırşehir, bread prices were redetermined and increased from 12 liras to 15 liras.
Bakers' Cost Justification
Bakery operator Abdurrahman Çevik emphasized the continuous increase in flour, yeast, and labor expenses, defending that the new price of 15 liras is at a normal level.
Çevik stated that they have difficulty calculating expenses and that different tariffs are applied to flour and yeast every day, indicating that current prices even lag behind.
Citizens' Cost of Living Difficulties
Expressing his views on the hike in bread, citizen Nizam Çakmak stated that the price increase is burdensome for their budgets.
Çakmak noted that the hikes leave citizens in a difficult situation, but they also remain in a dilemma regarding the economic conditions experienced by the tradesmen.
