Cabinet meets at the Palace: Fund investigation and economy on the agenda

The Presidential Cabinet is meeting at the Palace under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Among the primary agenda items of the meeting are the fund investigation, interim payments of up to 1 million liras to victimized investors, the Terror-Free Turkey process, the economy, budget negotiations, and foreign policy topics.

At the meeting to be held at the Palace under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the latest developments in the fund investigation and the implementation process for interim payments of up to 1 million liras to investors will be addressed. Following the regulation accepted and enacted in the Grand National Assembly General Assembly, details regarding how the payments will be implemented will be evaluated.

Within the scope of security topics, the authorization determination processes of the sub-commissions of the National Solidarity and Integration Coordination Board and developments regarding the Monitoring Committee in the TBMM will be reviewed. The stage reached in the PKK's disarmament process is expected to be evaluated in line with information coming from security institutions. In foreign policy, contacts between the US and Iran, the situation in Gaza, the Russia-Ukraine war, and preparations for the Organization of Turkic States Summit to be hosted by Ankara will be discussed.
