Call for Health Personnel Shortage and Priority in Elazığ
It was stated that healthcare workers in Elazığ are under heavy workload due to staff shortages, and support was requested from the Ministry of Health.
Due to staff shortages in healthcare services at Fethi Sekin City Hospital and new residential areas in Elazığ, a call was made to the Ministry of Health for priority personnel support.
It was stated that healthcare workers, especially those serving at Fethi Sekin City Hospital, are under a heavy workload due to staff shortages, and a work pace reaching up to 12-13 shifts per month in some units is wearing the employees out.
It was emphasized that 112 Emergency Health Services Stations should be opened in regions where the population is increasing and new residential areas are emerging, and it was noted that supporting these stations with sufficient personnel and ambulances will shorten the response time to emergency cases.
In the call made to Elazığ Provincial Health Directorate officials and deputies, it was requested that initiatives be undertaken with the Ministry of Health and priority be given to the city's needs in personnel planning.
