Çanakkale BİLSEM Students Visit Defense and Technology Organizations
Çanakkale BİLSEM students, guided by the school principal and teachers, visited ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, and TÜRKSAT to examine technology and defense projects.
Students from the Çanakkale Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) organized an educational trip to ASELSAN, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), and TÜRKSAT to observe developments in science and technology firsthand. Approximately 45 students participated in the program, which was conducted under the guidance of School Principal Berna Aras and teachers.
During the program, which included approximately 45 students, participants had the opportunity to closely examine ongoing work in the fields of defense electronics, aviation, space technologies, satellite systems, and communication. The visits contributed to students relating the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the classroom environment to real-life applications.
The educational trip aimed to support students' research, inquiry, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills. Laying the groundwork for the development of professional awareness and the shaping of future goals, particularly for young people interested in STEM fields, this organization increased the students' motivation for technology production processes.
