China-based company Unitree has released a promotional video showcasing the acrobatic movements and martial arts proficiency of its new protection robot, named 'Kung-Fu Legend: Guardian'.

Developed based on Unitree's H2 model, the new robot is designed to be 180 centimeters tall and weigh 70 kilograms. In the promotional video, the machine is seen jumping over cars, leaping from a high point to perform a backflip in the air, and kicking a vehicle after acrobatic maneuvers. The footage also shows the robot being able to resist an attacker with a knife. While it is claimed that the robot can operate for eight hours, there are some uncertainties regarding its operational capabilities. It has not yet been clarified whether the robot in the video operates fully autonomously or is controlled by a human via remote control. The company had previously claimed that its robot named 'Superman' ran faster than record-breaking athlete Usain Bolt.
