Çukurova Mayor Emrah Kozay and Soner Çetin detained

Within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Çukurova Municipality, 44 suspects, including Mayor Emrah Kozay and former Mayor Soner Çetin, were detained, underwent health checks, and were taken to the gendarmerie.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, allegations of irregularities in tender and direct procurement procedures within the municipality, bribery, qualified fraud, andrigging bids are being examined. Within the scope of the operation, a total of 44 suspects, including former mayor Soner Çetin, were detained.

Within the framework of the investigation, the suspects, including current Mayor Emrah Kozay, who is evaluated to be the leader of the organization, and former Mayor Soner Çetin, who is evaluated to be an administrator of the organization, were taken to the gendarmerie to be interrogated after the completion of their health checks.
