Culture and Art Events in Turkey on the October 24-25 Weekend

While a busy culture and art program is being implemented in many cities of Turkey over the weekend covering October 24-25, 2026, Culture Route festivals, theater performances, biennials, book fairs, and special exhibitions are meeting with art enthusiasts.

Within the scope of the Turkey Culture Route Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, events that started in Izmir on October 24 continued with a Demet Akalın concert at Gündoğdu Square, while the closing in Mardin took place on October 25 with a Mert Demir concert. In Ankara, the 18th ETHOS International Theatre Festival continues with the theme "Dreams, Visions, Utopias", while in Çanakkale, the 10th Çanakkale Biennial welcomes visitors in historical venues under the theme "Ebb and Tide". While the 13th Book Days continue at the Selçuklu Congress Center in Konya, the Bosphorus Boat Show Marine Fair at Ataköy Marina, the Club Market at Hillside City Club Etiler, and children's workshops at Borusan Contemporary are being held in Istanbul. The Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum opened the exhibition "The 1914 Generation: Painters We Know" free of charge to visitors between October 24 and November 1 on the occasion of its 3rd anniversary, while the City Festivals planned to be held in Eskişehir were canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
