Dalí Cybernetics Exhibition Opens Its Doors in Istanbul
The international exhibition bringing together Salvador Dalí's works with digital technologies has opened to visitors at the Istanbul Digital Experience Center.
Reaching hundreds of thousands of visitors in 14 cities around the world, the 'Dalí Cybernetics: The Mind of a Genius' exhibition has opened its doors at the Digital Experience Center under Kültür AŞ, an affiliate of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
Reinterpreting Salvador Dalí's iconic works, boundless imagination, and scientific curiosity with digital technologies, the exhibition offers an experience where the boundaries between reality and imagination become blurred. Challenging the limits of art with melting clocks, optical illusions, and unconventional imagery, Dalí's world, which first met art enthusiasts in Barcelona in 2022, has moved to Istanbul following its journey across 14 cities including London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Lisbon, and Athens.
Developed with the support of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation and brought to life by Barcelona-based Layers of Reality, the exhibition was prepared with a special setup adapted to the technological infrastructure of the Digital Experience Center. Spanning an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, the event provides visitors with a multi-sensory discovery opportunity through large-scale projections, interactive installations, augmented reality, and virtual reality applications. The opening ceremony, which began as of October 22, was attended by representatives of the Consulates General of Lebanon, the Republic of Korea, Ukraine, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, IMM protocol, representatives from the arts and culture sector, and guests.
