Former Juventus player Darko Kovacevic made evaluations to the Italian press regarding Dusan Vlahovic, who left Juventus during the summer transfer window and signed with Beşiktaş. Kovacevic stated that the Serbian striker loves the black-and-white colors, that Juventus should have kept him in the squad, and that the player might regret leaving.
Emphasizing that Juventus should have kept Vlahovic in the squad no matter what, the former player said, "Vlahovic depends on the performance Juventus will display; perhaps he will regret leaving, but Spalletti needs a center-forward like him. They should have kept Vlahovic in the team." On the other hand, Dusan Vlahovic has hit the back of the net 6 times in 8 matches he has played wearing the Beşiktaş jersey this season.
