Decision by TDP parliamentary candidate Şifa Çika to support Koral Bozkurt in local elections

Communal Democracy Party (TDP) Famagusta 5th-rank parliamentary candidate Şifa Çika announced her preference for the local elections through a social media post. Despite her party's decision to support Republican Turkish Party (CTP) candidate Süleyman Uluçay in Famagusta, Çika announced that she will support Architect Koral Bozkurt.

This personal preference by Çika, which contradicts party policy, sparked discussions in political circles. Stating that she would support Koral Bozkurt even if her party fielded its own candidate, no official evaluation has been made yet by the TDP leadership regarding this stance by Çika.
