While Treasury-owned immovables continue to be utilized to support agriculture, livestock, education, tourism, and energy investments, those who meet the conditions and complete the 10-year lease period are granted the right to directly acquire a title deed.

The utilization of Treasury-owned immovables in agriculture, livestock, education, tourism, and other fields to support investments continues. It is planned to put 10 million square meters of immovable property up for tender for investment purposes every year until 2028. In the first 8 months of this year, 6 million 738 thousand square meters of immovables were put up for tender, and preliminary permits and easement rights were established for 24 thousand square meters of immovables in exchange for 174 million liras of investment amount.

Immovable properties under the private ownership of the Treasury or under the state's rule and disposal are directly leased to their users for up to 10 years to support local agricultural production activities. While rental fees are calculated over half of the ecrimisil (state property occupation compensation) fee determined for the current year, those who fulfill their obligations at the end of the period are given the right to extend this period or, for those who use it for 10 years, to purchase it directly. So far, rental agreements have been signed with 101 thousand farmers who meet the conditions, and with the latest regulation, the application deadline has been removed.

Since August 2018, 51.1 million square meters of immovables have been leased for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants as well as ornamental plants. Additionally, 5 million 957 thousand square meters of Treasury immovables were allocated for afforestation purposes this year, primarily walnuts, almonds, and pistachios. Within the scope of urban transformation and housing projects, 31.6 million square meters of immovables were transferred to the Urban Transformation Presidency this year, while immovables of various sizes were transferred to TOKİ for the First Home, Social Housing, First Workplace projects, and settlement areas in the earthquake zone. Within the framework of renewable energy investments, easement rights for up to 29 years are established for solar and wind energy plants.
