Fenerbahçe has announced that following the departure of İsmail Kartal, Dirk Kuyt has been appointed as the technical manager until the international break, and preparations for the Galatasaray match have begun.
At the Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım and members of the board of directors met to discuss the managerial position following the departure of İsmail Kartal. An official statement was released by the club after the meeting, which began at 14:00 and lasted approximately 2.5 hours.
In accordance with the decision taken at the board meeting, it was decided that Dirk Kuyt would carry out the technical responsibilities of the Football A Team until the break in the league due to international matches. It was reported that the committee formed to determine the new head coach is continuing its work rapidly.
