While certain stocks held in funds in the process of liquidation have gained value since the beginning of October, severe losses exceeding 90 percent have occurred in the shares of some companies, prompting market experts to examine the situation.

Stocks Rising in October

Certain stocks found in liquidating funds captured an upward momentum starting from October 1, drawing the attention of market observers.

During this period, Temapol Plastik recorded an increase of 73.32 percent, Skyalp Finansal Teknolojiler 48.08 percent, and Pasifik Eurasia 32.52 percent.

Additionally, İnfo Yatırım rose by 39.77 percent, Efor Çay by 29.79 percent, and Lydia Yeşil Enerji by 50.67 percent.

Continuous Declines in the Previous Period

It was observed that the movements of these same stocks that entered an upward trend had occurred as continuous declines between September 15 and October 1.

Major Losses Exceeding Ninety Percent

In some other stocks located within the portfolios of funds under liquidation, the rate of losses exceeded the 90 percent threshold.

Tera Finansal Yatırım Holding, Altınkılıç Gıda, Birleşim Grup Enerji, Özata Denizcilik, and Destek Finans Faktoring were among this group.

Additionally, the shares of Işıklar Enerji, Tera Yatırım Teknoloji Holding, and Gündoğdu Gıda have also lost more than 90 percent of their value since September 15.

Declines Reaching Eighty-Nine Percent

Among those experiencing large-scale declines are the shares of companies such as Anel Elektrik, Tera Yatırım, Ral Yatırım Holding, and Odine, and these equities continue to maintain losses reaching up to 89 percent.

Evaluations by Market Experts

Market experts are conducting studies to make sense of these divergent movements seen in funds undergoing liquidation and to resolve the reasons behind them.

According to the analyses of experts, various factors stand out among the possibilities that could lead to this situation.

Possible Reasons for Divergent Movements

The possibility of certain companies whose shares are held in the funds, or portfolio management companies, transitioning to public administration is cited among these reasons.

Balance sheet valuation, actions aimed at raising overall valuations, or direct purchase orders by company executives are also evaluated among the potential causes.
