"Do Sports Against Addiction" Event Kicks Off in Eskişehir
Organized to raise awareness in the fight against addiction among youth and encourage sports, the event started with table tennis matches.
The "Do Sports Against Addiction" event, implemented in cooperation with the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Yeşilay Eskişehir Branch, started with table tennis matches at the Çamlıca Kemal Unakıtan Sports Hall.
The organization aims to direct youth toward physical activity, support healthy living habits, and strengthen social awareness against addictions. During the opening program held at the Çamlıca Kemal Unakıtan Sports Hall, the first matches took place in the table tennis branch.
Deputy Governor Yakup Güney, AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak, MHP Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Ayhan Sezer, Turkish Red Crescent Eskişehir Branch Chairman Egemen Temizsoy, Yeşilay Eskişehir Branch Chairman Ayşe Fert Dökmeçi, and Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Hasan Kalın attended the opening of the event. The matches are planned to conclude following tomorrow's games.
