Doctors Begin Consultation Services at Pharmacies Following Nationwide Health Checks
The Vietnam Young Physicians Association has launched a new health program in cooperation with the pharmacy system against common diseases.
Following widespread health checks across the country, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association has launched the "Doctors Right Here - Find Peace of Mind From Here" program in cooperation with the pharmacy system targeting common diseases.
New Health Service Starts at Pharmacies
Following preliminary data on common diseases identified during nationwide health checks, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association organized a large-scale event in collaboration with the pharmacy system.
This initiative, which brings doctors directly to pharmacies to assist people, aims to provide direct examination and consultation services to the public.
Combating Chronic Diseases
This project was implemented against the backdrop of medical conditions that can progress silently, such as hypertension, pre-diabetes, metabolic disorders, or chronic kidney disease.
Specialist doctors are stationed at pharmacies to address these conditions, which make it difficult for people to recognize risks and proactively monitor their health.
Health Screenings and Data
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration under the Ministry of Health announced that as of the end of September, it had received reports from 34 provinces and cities.
According to the data, over fifty percent of the population nationwide has undergone health checks, with this rate exceeding ninety percent in some regions.
