Domestically produced heart-lung machine used in the treatment of 57 patients

The entirely domestic and national heart-lung machine, classified among critical technologies that only four countries in the world can produce, has been successfully applied in the treatment of a total of 57 patients at three different hospitals.

Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated in a social media post that Turkey is progressing toward becoming a country that develops its own technology in the healthcare field. According to the information shared under the title "Turkey Produced: Healing 57 Patients with Domestic Technology," the heart-lung machine produced through the joint efforts of engineers and physicians played an active role in patient treatment.
