Economists' October inflation expectations announced

The October inflation expectation survey organized by AA Finance with the participation of 21 economists has concluded. Prior to the data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Tuesday, November 3, the average of the economists' monthly inflation expectations was calculated as 2.20 percent.

Monthly inflation estimates for October by the economists participating in the AA Finance survey ranged between 1.25 percent and 2.70 percent. Based on the average of expectations, annual inflation, which was at the level of 29.73 percent in the previous month, is projected to decline to 29.28 percent in October. The average of economists' year-end inflation expectations was recorded as 29.64 percent. The Consumer Price Index had increased by 1.84 percent in September.
