Economy and Politics Agenda of October 20, 2026

Official programs and data calendars in the fields of economy, politics, legislation, and diplomacy to be followed across Turkey and the world on October 20, 2026, have been announced.

Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş will attend the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States Council Meeting and the 15th General Assembly in Bishkek, and will hold meetings with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. On the political scene, New Party Chairman Özgür Özel, along with the MHP, DEM Party, and CHP, will hold group meetings under the roof of the TBMM; furthermore, the TBMM General Assembly will convene to discuss issues on its agenda. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin will visit the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Abu Dhabi and participate in the opening ceremony of the exhibition titled "Treasures of the Bride: A Journey to Ottoman and Anatolian Dowries."

Within the scope of the domestic programs of cabinet members, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar will attend the Ankara University 2026-2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır will attend the opening of the KADEM Women in Innovation Information Center, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat will attend the Consumer Awards Program, and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu will attend the 19th International Information Security and Cryptology Conference. In the economic field, TÜIK will publish the September domestic and total industrial producer price indices, and the CBRT will publish the August international investment position. In foreign diplomacy traffic, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi, and Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek will participate in the 4th Turkey-Belgium Foreign, Justice, and Interior Ministers Meeting to be held in Brussels.
