Antalya Meeting Within the Scope of COP31

Borusan Group is preparing to contribute to international dialogue through the transformative power of art by transforming sustainability into a holistic approach based on people and innovation.

In this direction, a special selection consisting of Edward Burtynsky's works is opening to viewers between November 9-20, hosted by Akra Antalya in cooperation with Borusan Holding and Borusan Contemporary.

Traces of Progress and Nature

The selection, created from the exhibition at the Perili Köşk, makes the traces left behind by progress visible by addressing industrial production areas, mines, and agricultural lands through expansive landscape studies.

The artist's visual narrative reveals both the scale of human intervention and the permanent consequences of this transformation.

Erosion Series and Anatolia

One of the striking parts of the exhibition is the Erosion series, brought to life with the commission of the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection and the contributions of the TEMA Foundation.

This special section, consisting of aerial shots taken by Burtynsky in the Anatolian geography, presents the thousands-of-years-old memory of the soil and human intervention in the same frame.

To Be Shown for the First Time in Turkey

The photography selection is accompanied by In the Wake of Progress, a 22-minute immersive multimedia project combining the artist's production spanning many years with music by composer Phil Strong.

This work, which will be exhibited in Turkey for the first time and blends visual aesthetics with a striking confrontation, can be followed during COP31 in cooperation with Borusan Holding.
