Ukraine alleged that Starlink systems belonging to SpaceX were slowed down and military operations were hindered. Musk, on the other hand, argued that the responsibility for any disruptions lay with the US government.

Musk stated that the Starshield system used by Ukraine for battlefield communications is controlled by the US government. He emphasized that the Starlink system intended for civilian use is not permitted to be used in offensive operations.
