Emphasis on Results-Oriented Management in Digital Transformation Processes
The Ministry of Public Security aims to transition to a new management approach in digital transformation projects that is based on tangible efficiency and social benefit.
General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security and Vice Chairman of the Central Steering Committee 57, stated that the success of digital transformation efforts should be measured by the real value provided to the public and businesses.
During the online meeting held on October 17, the digital transformation report cards of local government units under the Central Steering Committee 57 were reviewed. According to the data shared at the meeting, as of October 14, 34 local government units across the country had approved and included 916 tasks covering 908 different scientific, technological, and innovative products in the process.
In terms of financial data, it was announced that as of September 24, the total allocated budget was at the level of 25.470 billion VND, and more than 8.472 billion VND of this amount had been distributed to the relevant projects. General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that technical progress alone is not sufficient in digitalization processes and that the results obtained must create concrete effectiveness and added value, calling for a shift in management mindset in this direction.
