Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları (Erdemir) shared its third-quarter financial results for 2026 with the public. Surpassing the market expectation of 1.9 billion TL, the company achieved a net profit of 2.2 billion TL during this period.
Erdemir's third-quarter revenue reached 71.3 billion TL, representing a 35 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year, surpassing the expectation of 70 billion TL. Production volume rose by 12 percent year-on-year to 2 million 169 thousand tons, while sales volume increased by 11 percent to 2 million 145 thousand tons.
The company's EBITDA figure increased by 68 percent year-on-year to 7.9 billion TL; this figure remained below the expectation of 8.2 billion TL. EBITDA per ton reached the level of 100 dollars. During the same period, the company's net debt increased by 28 percent on a quarterly basis to 50.5 billion TL.
