Following the imprisonment of Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was arrested in the fund investigation on suspicion of unfair gain and market manipulation in Özata Denizcilik shares, details from the investigation file have come to light. According to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's referral document, it was determined that Kaya carried out the share sale operation via the wire transfer method.

According to the referral document prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya did not execute the share sale operation through normal market rules, but rather through the wire transfer method just before the liquidation decision, thereby shielding her money from potential measures. In the Capital Markets Board (SPK) report, a criminal complaint was filed stating that Kaya possessed non-public information regarding the Özata Denizcilik shares in which she invested. Investigations revealed that the Tera group made heavy purchases of OZATD shares on a company and fund basis.

Statements in the investigation file indicated that the suspect Kaya had a long-standing acquaintance with Tera executives, including Erdin Özel, that communications continued during the share investment process, and that she contacted Tera Group Chairman of the Board Emre Tezmen. It was confirmed by both transactions and statements that Kaya opened an investment account with the Tera group.
