The Ziraat Turkish Cup 3rd Round match played between Fethiyespor and Eyüpspor at the Fethiye District Stadium was suspended after the first half due to heavy rain and adverse weather conditions.
In the Ziraat Turkish Cup 3rd Round match held at the Fethiye District Stadium between 2nd League team Fethiyespor and Süper Lig representative Eyüpspor, the game was suspended after the first half due to adverse weather conditions and heavy rain. In the match where visiting team Eyüpspor finished the first half leading 2-1, the referee team decided to postpone the match after inspecting the pitch.
The first half of the match, which started at 15:30 at the Fethiye District Stadium in the Ziraat Turkish Cup 3rd Round, ended with visiting team Eyüpspor leading 2-1. Eyüpspor's goals were scored by Pintor in the 20th minute and El Yamiq in the 45th minute, while the sole goal for hosts Fethiyespor came from a penalty by Mehmet Kaan in the 36th minute.
As the rain and wind increased in intensity before the second half, referee Birkan Altındaş and his assistants conducted a pitch inspection along with the team captains. Because the ball failed to bounce on the waterlogged pitch, the referees suspended the match. The Turkish Football Federation will make the official decision regarding the fixture, and the match is expected to be completed from where it left off the next day at the same time.
