Preparations have been completed for an 11-article draft law prepared by AK Party MPs regarding working life and renewable energy sources, and the bill is expected to be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Presidency.
As a result of the work carried out under the chairmanship of AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, the new 11-article draft law is planned to be submitted to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the coming days. Within the scope of the bill, it is also foreseen to make certain legal arrangements in line with the annulment decisions of the Constitutional Court.
With the prepared regulation, the duration of incentives for the employment of women, youth, and unemployed individuals holding vocational and technical education certificates will be extended until December 31, 2027, and the President will be authorized to extend this period until December 31, 2028. Additionally, unpaid general health insurance premiums for the period prior to January 1, 2017, along with the delay penalties and interest tied to these debts, will be written off. In the energy sector, a new regulation will be implemented allowing floating liquefied natural gas facilities to operate in different regions outside the locations specified in their licenses under certain conditions.
