Galatasaray has signed 21-year-old French central defender El-Chadaille Bitshiabu, who plays for German club RB Leipzig, on loan until the end of the 2026-2027 season with an option to buy.
Financial Details of the Transfer
Galatasaray Club announced that a payment of 2,000,000 Euros will be made to RB Leipzig for the temporary transfer process. The fee for the purchase option, which is subject to the club's request, has been set at 28,000,000 Euros.
It was among the official details reported to KAP that the young footballer will be paid a net fixed salary of 2,000,000 Euros throughout the 2026-2027 season.
Arrival in Istanbul and Initial Statements
Having arrived in Istanbul following transfer negotiations, the French defender expressed his happiness at being here in a statement to GS TV at the airport. The player stated that he is looking forward to experiencing one of the best atmospheres in Europe.
Career Background
Having come through the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy, the footballer transferred to German side Leipzig in 2023 for a fee of 15 million Euros. Bitshiabu has made a total of 48 official appearances in a Leipzig shirt.
