Gender Distribution in Nobel Prizes: Women's Representation Remains Low

Between 1901 and 2026, only 30 of the 769 Nobel prizes awarded in the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry, and economics were won by women. This data reveals that the share of women in scientific awards remains at 3.9%.
