Precious metals research organization Metals Focus announced its gold and silver price forecasts for 2027. According to the report, the average price per ounce of gold is expected to reach 5,330 dollars, while silver is expected to reach 84.40 dollars.
According to the report published by Metals Focus, an upward trend in gold and silver prices is projected until 2027. The organization estimates the average price of gold for 2027 at 5,330 dollars per ounce, and at 5,600 dollars for its final quarter. It is stated that if investor confidence is fully established, prices could approach the 6,000 dollar level. On the silver side, the 2027 average price expectation is set at 84.40 dollars, while it is stated that levels above 90 dollars could be seen in the final quarter of the year.
Metals Focus Gold and Silver Director Matthew Piggott noted that the current stagnation stems from the allocation of capital to different asset classes rather than a deterioration in fundamental dynamics. The report emphasized that central bank gold purchases will continue to support prices, and physical demand in China and India will also play a significant role. In the silver market, it was noted that the supply deficit in 2026 could turn into a supply surplus in 2027, and therefore the price increase will largely depend on investor interest. As an evaluation, it was stated that high inflation and interest rate expectations create short-term pressure, but global economic uncertainties support the long-term upward expectation.
