Half Is From Us Campaign Extended by 1 Year

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum announced that the duration of the "Half Is From Us" Campaign, announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has been extended by 1 year until December 31, 2027.

Campaign Duration Extended

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum stated in a social media post that the duration of the Half Is From Us Campaign was extended in line with the demands of citizens. Stating that the new deadline has been set as December 31, 2027, Minister Kurum emphasized that they will continue to stand by citizens during their home transformation processes.

Transformation Data Shared

With the decision announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan following the cabinet meeting, the campaign date, which was previously planned to be completed on December 31, 2026, was moved forward by one year. According to the data shared by Minister Kurum, 435,683 independent units in Istanbul have been included in the transformation scope so far, and the transformation of 108,881 independent units has been completed.

Details of the Support Package

Financial support is provided to citizens within the framework of the Half Is From Us Campaign, which came into effect on February 22, 2024, to accelerate urban transformation in Istanbul. Within the scope of the campaign, a total of 1 million 875 thousand TL in financial support, including grants, loans, and evacuation support, is offered, and large-scale area-based transformations can be carried out alongside building-based transformations.
