Members of the Party Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee, and numerous invited guests attended the ceremony held in Hanoi. Within the scope of the celebrations, the First-Class Labor Order was presented to the university.
History and Achievements of the University
Party Committee Secretary and Rector Professor Le Anh Tuan touched upon the school's deep-rooted history in his opening speech. Reaching a prestigious position in engineering and technology, the institution has reached a global alumni network of 300,000 and 42,000 students to date.
Technology and Industry-Focused Vision
General Secretary and President To Lam drew attention to the challenges of the age of science and technology in his speech at the ceremony. He noted the importance of identifying and training talents early on who will lead Vietnam's industry.
To Lam also expressed his support for the university's goal of ranking among Asia's top 100-150 universities by the year 2035.

Prior to the celebration program, the official opening of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Interdisciplinary Innovation Area, based on the internationally standardized Design Factory model, took place.
