Happiness Guaranteed Exhibition Meets Visitors at Taksim Sanat

Taksim Sanat, the public exhibition space of Kültür AŞ, brings together art enthusiasts with the "Happiness Guaranteed!" exhibition, curated by Marcus Graf with assistant curation by Öykü Demirci.

Taksim Sanat, the public exhibition space of Kültür AŞ, an affiliate of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, is opening its doors to a new exhibition that addresses the concepts of happiness, dreams, and utopia from various perspectives. Bringing together 34 works by 24 contemporary artists, the selection consists of paintings, photographs, and sculptures. The exhibition examines how contemporary consumer culture shapes individuals' desires and understanding of happiness.

Questioning the promises of happiness behind glossy surfaces and attractive images, the event features works by Altan Çelem, Ardan Özmenoğlu, Banu Aydoğan, Betül Sertkaya, Buket Ada Kiliç, Çağla Ulusoy, Eelco Hilgersom, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Elif Demir Tura, Erdal Duman, Erdal İnci, Erdem Varol, Gülçin Aslandoğan, Güler Güçlü, Gülveli Kaya, Mustafa Hulusi, Mutlu Aksu, Nesrin Demirel, Sabo, Serdar Acar, Sinan Arslan, Yağızhan Çalışkan, Yıldırım Çakmakçı, and Zeynep Beler. The exhibition can be visited until January 10, 2027.
