The Airline Employees Union (HAVA-SEN) announced that they will resort to legal measures, stating that the baseless allegations circulating on social media regarding General President Seçim Seçkin Koçak and the union are a deliberate fabrication.

The Airline Employees Union (HAVA-SEN) made a statement regarding the allegations brought up recently on certain digital media outlets and social media platforms concerning General President Seçim Seçkin Koçak and the union. The union argued that the claims in question do not reflect the truth and drew attention to the timing of the published reports. The statement also touched upon the mass termination notice allegedly sent by Turkish Airlines (THY) to Hava-İş representatives and claims that employees would be laid off.

HAVA-SEN demanded clarification on certain points mentioned in the reports and directed various questions to the relevant parties. The union announced that legal remedies will be sought regarding the allegations. It was stated that a criminal complaint will be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and all legal paths will be pursued against fake news and posts intended to create pressure, intimidation, panic, and anxiety among HAVA-SEN members and personnel wishing to become members.
