Emrah Nebioğlu, who is 94% disabled and on the Human Rights Association's list of seriously ill prisoners, is experiencing problems accessing treatment at Diyarbakır No. 1 High Security Closed Prison. His family is demanding the release of Nebioğlu, who suffers from chronic kidney failure.
It has been reported that the health condition of Emrah Nebioğlu, a 94% disabled and chronic kidney patient held in Diyarbakır No. 1 High Security Closed Prison, is progressively worsening due to his inability to access medication and physical therapy under prison conditions.
Emrah Nebioğlu, who has been in prison since 2021 and was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison, has his case pending at the Court of Cassation. His brother, Fırat Nebioğlu, stated that his older brother achieved partial recovery through physical therapy after an injury he suffered in 2014, but this treatment has been disrupted under prison conditions.
Fırat Nebioğlu stated that his brother has lost excessive weight and his kidney values have increased, and conveyed that they have not received a response to their applications for release submitted to the local court. The family expects Nebioğlu to be released so that his treatment can continue uninterrupted.
