In the “Healthy Child, Healthy Future” program held at 19 Mayıs Primary School in cooperation with the Çorum Provincial Directorate of Health and the Provincial Directorate of National Education, students were given training on health, hygiene, 112 Emergency Call, and disaster awareness, and at the end of the event, children were pinned with health ambassador badges.
At the program held at 19 Mayıs Primary School on October 21, 2026, students were informed about personal hygiene, oral and dental health, balanced nutrition, and physical activity at stands set up by expert teams. Proper handwashing techniques, the importance of tooth brushing, and healthy food choices were conveyed through practical studies.
Students were taught how to act in emergency situations, the correct use of the 112 Emergency Call Center, basic first aid information, and disaster preparedness. Receiving information about UMKE's duties and basic precautions to be taken in disaster situations, the students reinforced what they learned through simulations and practices.
The trainings aimed to foster social solidarity awareness by introducing the conscious use of technology, balancing screen time, and home healthcare services. At the end of the program, students were pinned with “Health Ambassador” badges and encouraged to share the knowledge they gained with their families and surroundings.
