High-Level Security Measures Taken for Galatasaray's Match in France

Following the protests and chaotic environment in France, the Galatasaray club applied to UEFA to increase security measures and contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to obtain information. It was reported that specially trained soldiers and snipers will protect the yellow-red delegation traveling to France for the Lille match.

The protests that got out of control in France and the chaotic environment prompted Galatasaray into action. The yellow-red club applied to UEFA for the safety of the delegation and fans, requesting that necessary precautions be taken. On the other hand, the club obtained information about the general situation in France through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stated that the Paris Embassy also stepped in for security measures.

According to information reported by L'Equipe, high-level measures were activated for the Galatasaray delegation traveling to France for the Lille match. It was stated that 6 snipers will take duty on the roof of the hotel, and 250 specially trained soldiers from the French Land Forces along with 1,000 National Gendarmerie and guards will provide protection.
