Hofstra University Professor's World Cup Photos to be Exhibited in Scotland
Photographs of Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland, taken by Mario H. Gonzalez of Hofstra University during the FIFA World Cup, have been selected for the "Action!" exhibition at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography in Scotland.
Two photographs captured by Associate Professor Mario H. Gonzalez from the Hofstra University Department of Journalism, Media Studies, and Public Relations are being showcased to art enthusiasts in Glasgow, Scotland. The images, taken by Gonzalez while covering the FIFA World Cup for Newsday this summer, have been selected for the "Action!" exhibition at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography.
The photographs featured in the exhibition focus on prominent figures in the football world, Argentine Lionel Messi and Norwegian Erling Haaland. The exhibition, which opened on November 4, 2026, and will run until November 28, 2026, brings together dynamic moments in sports photography.
