AI startup Honeyjar has launched its tools designed to automate and improve public relations and communications processes. Founded by Michelle Masek and Nadia Jamshidi, the startup aims to streamline steps such as press release writing, journalist matching, and identifying speaking opportunities.

Platform Automating Communication Processes

Honeyjar automates business processes such as drafting press releases, finding suitable journalists, and identifying events for speaking engagements. Nadia Jamshidi, co-founder of the company, stated that their vision goes beyond standalone AI tools to create a holistic communication workflow encompassing strategy, timing, context, and execution.

The platform targets not only entrepreneurs but also a broad audience undertaking corporate communications tasks, including marketers, investors, writers, and content creators.

Human Oversight and Waitlist Demand

Michelle Masek, CEO of the startup, stated that the system is not intended to replace PR professionals, but rather to increase the effectiveness of existing teams and agencies. To prevent the overwhelm that automated pitches might cause, a human is always required to make the final decision during the email pitching or content publishing stages.

Honeyjar received 10,000 sign-ups within the first 24 hours of opening its waitlist. The startup's beta test users include Nextdoor, Coco Robotics, Bloomberg Beta, Mission North, and Full Picture.
