Hotel Occupancy Rates Reach 67.96 Percent in July
The occupancy rate of licensed and simply certified accommodation facilities showed an increase in July. The total rate for the January-July period was recorded at 42.88 percent.
According to data announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the occupancy rate in accommodation facilities stood at 67.96 percent in July. The total occupancy rate for the first seven months of the year was calculated as 42.88 percent.

The occupancy rate of licensed and simply certified accommodation facilities in July was announced as 67.96 percent. This rate registered an increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
Foreign visitors accounted for 39.82 percent and domestic visitors accounted for 28.14 percent of the total occupancy rate in July.
Accommodation and Overnight Statistics
A total of 13,295,730 visitor arrivals to accommodation facilities took place in July.
During the same month, the total number of overnight stays was 36,615,862, while the average length of stay was recorded as 2.75 days.
Seven-Month Period Results
In the first seven-month period covering January-July, the total occupancy rate in accommodation facilities was realized at the level of 42.88 percent.
In the first seven months of the year, occupancy driven by foreign visitors was recorded at 24.16 percent, and occupancy driven by domestic visitors at 18.73 percent.
January-July Visitor Numbers
A total of 57,655,618 arrivals to facilities were recorded in the period covering January and July.
The total number of overnight stays in this period was 142,425,713, while the average length of stay was calculated as 2.47 days.
