Houthis in Yemen announced that they targeted energy giant Saudi Aramco's facilities in Dhahran and various locations in the capital, Riyadh, with missiles and drones. Following these attacks, loud explosions occurred in the capital, while coalition forces reported that a missile launched toward Riyadh was intercepted in mid-air.

Attack on Aramco Facilities

Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthis in Yemen, stated that they carried out comprehensive military operations targeting the Aramco facilities in Dhahran, as well as the Riyadh airport and a refinery in the capital.

A Saudi energy ministry official stated that a limited fire broke out as a result of the Aramco building in Dhahran being hit, but no one was killed or injured in the incident.

Explosion Sounds in the Capital Riyadh

While loud explosion sounds were heard in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, coalition forces announced that a missile launched by the Iran-backed group had been intercepted.

As city residents monitored the activity in the sky, they were directed to shelters by warning messages sent to their mobile phones.

Retaliatory Operations by Coalition Forces

In response to the attacks, the Saudi-led coalition forces carried out airstrikes on Tuesday targeting various oil facilities in western Yemen.

Coalition spokesman Turki Al-Malki stated that these operations were conducted against facilities threatening the kingdom, Yemen, and the southern Red Sea waterways.

Following the security tension, the Saudi Pro League announced the postponement of three matches, including the Al Nassr match featuring Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, scheduled to start next week, was postponed to December, while the investment conference at the end of the month is expected to proceed as planned.
