Humanoid robot AKINCI-5 developed in Konya enters mass production phase
The 19-joint humanoid robot AKINCI-5, produced by AKINROBOTICS in Konya, has entered the mass production process. The robot, which is a product of entirely domestic engineering, is targeted to be released to the market by the end of 2027.
Konya-based technology firm AKINROBOTICS has moved its new generation humanoid robot, AKINCI-5, which was developed with domestic resources, to the mass production stage. The robot, which has autonomous control capability and whose critical hardware is produced within the company, will be offered for sale at the end of 2027.
AKINCI-5 stands out as the first mass-produced model in the series capable of moving and walking healthily. The robot's core components, such as motors, reducers, circuits, and power boards, were developed entirely through domestic engineering efforts. The system, which can be controlled autonomously via its onboard computers without the need for an external cloud system, provides uninterrupted operational support with its swappable battery architecture.
According to information provided by AKINROBOTICS Production Coordinator Emre Çağ, AKINCI-5 is designed with a 19-degree-of-freedom joint structure, stands 128 centimeters tall, and weighs 42 kilograms. The robot, which has a 1.5-hour operating capacity with a half-hour charge, is planned to be used particularly in tiring, repetitive, or dangerous sectors where humans are currently employed.
