İKMİB Chemistry Technology Center Receives TSE Approval Certificate

The Chemistry Technology Center, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (İKMİB), has earned the TSE Test Laboratory Approval Certificate dated October 12, 2026. With this certificate, it has been officially registered that the center possesses the technical competence to perform the tests within the scope of approval.

According to the statement made by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (İKMİB), as a result of the initiatives undertaken by İKMİB President Vefa İbrahim Aracı before the Presidency of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), the technical competence of the Chemistry Technology Center was evaluated. Following this evaluation, the center became entitled to receive the TSE Test Laboratory Approval Certificate dated October 12, 2026.

While the certificate confirmed that the Chemistry Technology Center can perform the tests within the scope of approval, it also paved the way for TSE to procure related testing services from this center. Vefa İbrahim Aracı, who took office as the Chairman of the İKMİB Board of Directors in April, emphasized that they attach special importance to strengthening relations with public institutions in the new period. Aracı stated that this development is an important beginning in terms of inter-institutional cooperation and the creation of new service areas for the sector.
